(1) The investigating officer may use all the rights granted to the investigating officer in accordance with the Governmental Cases Act, 2049, Governmental Cases Regulations, 2055 and other prevailing laws.
(2) In the course of performing their duties, the police personnel assigned to the bureau may conduct their duties throughout Nepal using the same powers as the local police in accordance with prevailing laws.
